It’s quiet over here. Life is loud, but the writing side of things is eerily in repose.
I’ve learned the hard way that writing for the sake of writing or blog stats or my own props can become like a dizzying descent into a cavernous, crooked rabbit hole. I don’t want to go back there.
So today I’m just waving “hi” from my corner of the world and letting you know that there is someone breathing on the other side of the screen. Also waiting to hear what God wants from me right now. 2019 is the year I resolved to write from a place of rest, and it’s been the best personal year in a long, long time.
