WHEN WOMEN WRITE: JANE EYRE

I recommend the following editions of Jane Eyre—the choice is up to you:

Ignatius Critical Edition, Jane Eyre

Norton Critical Edition, Jane Eyre

Penguin Classics, Jane Eyre

The biggest difference between editions will be the forwards’ authors and the annotations. If the text is unabridged, you’re good to go.

More Jane Eyre Resources:

More Frankenstein Resources:

Kenneth Branagh’s Frankenstein film adaptation isn’t exactly like the book, but it’s closer than others.

This is the classic 1931 Boris Karloff film version of Frankenstein.
