It’s quiet over here. Life is loud, but the writing side of things is eerily in repose.
I’ve learned the hard way that writing for the sake of writing or blog stats or my own props can become like a dizzying descent into a cavernous, crooked rabbit hole. I don’t want to go back there.
So today I’m just waving “hi” from my corner of the world and letting you know that there is someone breathing on the other side of the screen. Also waiting to hear what God wants from me right now. 2019 is the year I resolved to write from a place of rest, and it’s been the best personal year in a long, long time.

MIGHTY JOE TURNED 11 IN MAY
WE WHISKED TWO OF OUR GIRLS OFF TO THE EAST COAST FOR A TOUR OF PHILLY, DELAWARE, MARYLAND, DC, AND VIRGINIA.
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO'VE JOINED US AT SANDY COVE, WE STOPPED FOR A VISIT SO ANNESLEY COULD MEET MORGAN & MEGHAN. SHE’S PLANNING ON APPLYING FOR CONVERGE AFTER HIGH SCHOOL. CAN’T WAIT!
We were meant to live a life with God in charge of the details, and he truly does love us enough to allow us to operate from a place of rest. What do you need to do from a place of rest?
